CSULB Printmaking Professor Emerita Roxanne Sexauer to speak at LACMA

la printCSULB Professor Emerita in Printmaking, Roxanne Sexauer will be part of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s ninth installment of L.A. Print, a program that explores current trends in printmaking and print publishing in Los Angeles. Entitled L.A. Print: Edition 9 – Celebrating Women of the L.A. Print World, the talk will be moderated by Leslie Jones, Curator of Prints and Drawings, who will discuss about women artists, publishers, and dealers of the L.A. print world. Alongside Professor Sexauer, will be panelists print dealer Tobey C. Moss, Mary Sherwood Brock artist and printmaker from L.A. Printmaking Society, Suzanne Felsen and Ayn Grinstein from Gemini G.E.L. The talk will be on Tuesday May 21, from 7 to 8pm in the Brown Auditorium at LACMA. Tickets are free!

Professor Sexauer, the 2018 Beisinghoff International Printmaking Resident in Diemelstadt-Rhoden, Germany has also been busy as a juror for the exhibition Body and Soul at the Westmont-Ridley-Tree Museum of Art in Montecito, CA, which will run from May 16 through June 22, 2019.
