brittany installationCSULB Sculpture Professor Brittany Ransom has been selected as one of 3 artists from the greater LA area to participate in the LACI (Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator) Artist in Residence Program from June through November 2019. This residency is for local artists whose creative work addresses environmental issues. This residency will allow Prof. Ransom to use a state of the art digital fabrication and science lab to support her art practice and a new project she is working on that studies the effects on bark beetles and the correlation with wild fires in California. It will culminate in a final exhibition in LA sometime around Thanksgiving.
